As the U.S. hunts for al-Qaeda in Pakistan, the Pakistan Intelligence Service, ISI, and the CIA work closely together. The two intelligence services have a long and rocky history, including rumors of double dealing and double agents, yet when the two partners collaborate they are very effective. But what is the future of this relationship? Are their endgames compatible? The Pakistani government is careful about public backlash towards the appearance of too close a relationship with the U.S., so where will this relationship take the two countries?
